Extending in a circular motion

Lay on your side having your knee with pain facing the ceiling. Have your arm keep your lain body balanced, and have the leg that is on the ground to be bent a little for more balance. To reduce knee pain your are going to take your leg with the knee pain and point it straight up. Then bring it back down, slowly bending the knee and extending it back parallel to the ground, do this for about 5-10 minutes.

In that same position try just extending your knee outward and keeping it relaxed. As you extend it, try to do it in a circular motion, this helps greatly with reducing knee pain.

For more knee pain relief, quickly follow these exercises with putting on an ice pack for about 15 minutes on your knee. Make sure that your knee is at least slightly elevated to decrease as much pain as possible.

Loosen the patela!

It's a new year, and most people are out there, determined to lose weight and get in shape, while some are building up their resumes and looking for better jobs, it's a vast world out there. Some of us, though, are having a hard time with knee pain. Like most of you reading here have now, I used to have crushing knee pain all the time. It was really quite troublesome. Here's what I would do to relieve pain in my knee.

Whenever I'd have knee swelling I'd almost immediately get an ice pack to ice it. I would always elevate my knee to prevent blood from transfering over to my foot and back. This practice alone is enough to reduce swelling and pain. Icing for a good 20 minutes is adequate. I advise icing at least twice a day for 20 minutes each time.

Another little secret that I discovered during my dreadful knee pains is that you can almost remove all the pain from your knee by simply directing your patella while your leg is fully extended and resting. Here's how it's done: Lay on your bed or sofa with back support and have your leg fully extended, relax the leg, and slowly move your patella. You'll notice at this position that the patella is easily maneuverable. Gently but firmly move it in a circular motion, it may sound strange but it works. Sometimes knee pains are caused by tissue scarring within the knee, this gesture simply removes the pain from the scarring.
